Most tools respond only to what is directly in front of them. Context is Love is being built around a different belief: people and situations cannot be understood accurately without the context surrounding them.

The founder
Founded by Gabrielle Ranieri.
Gabrielle Ranieri created the original concept, mission, product vision, brand, feature direction, and user experience for Context is Love.
She directs the product's ongoing development using modern AI-assisted and no-code development tools, working from the belief that strong ideas should not be limited by a founder's traditional technical background.
Her role includes defining what the product should do, how it should behave, which problems it should solve, how it should communicate, and where human judgment must remain essential.

Why Context Matters
People carry more than anyone else can see.
I have had a lifelong fascination with how people think, remember, interpret, interact, and react — not only with what people think, but with how they arrive there.
Why can two people experience the same moment and remember it completely differently? Why can an ordinary sentence alter someone’s life without the speaker ever knowing? Why do people who deeply care about one another still misunderstand each other? How much of a person’s inner world remains invisible, even to the people closest to them?
I am captivated by the way language can give shape to experiences people have never been able to explain. There are words for realizing that every stranger has a life as vivid and complicated as your own. For wondering how other people truly perceive you. For discovering that someone you have known for years still contains entire rooms you have never entered. For the smallest moments of human connection that briefly make someone feel less alone.
Those words genuinely move me because they reveal something fundamental: people are carrying far more context than anyone else can see.
Our reactions are shaped by memory, history, fear, intention, personality, timing, perception, and countless experiences that rarely make it into the conversation. We usually respond only to the small piece visible in front of us — and then wonder why we fail to understand one another.
An obsession with the gap.
Context is Love grew from my obsession with the gap between what people carry internally and what others can actually see.
I began imagining what might become possible if technology could help people preserve the context that normally disappears. Not to decide who is right. Not to replace human judgment. Not merely to resolve conflict. But to remember what matters, uncover what is missing, connect experiences across time, and help people understand themselves and one another more completely.
Josie and Teddy.
Everything I build is ultimately rooted in my children, Josie and Teddy. I dedicate my life and my work to them.
Josie’s lupus changed the way I think about time, science, empathy, and the future. Watching my daughter live with an illness she never chose has made me determined to contribute — however I eventually can — to a future where lupus is better understood, better treated, and ultimately cured.
Teddy represents hope, and the reminder that the future is still being written. Together, my children are the reason I care so deeply about creating something meaningful — something that preserves what matters, helps people understand one another, and leaves the world more humane than I found it.

The principles behind the product.
Principle 1
Context before conclusion.
The product should seek relevant context before making strong interpretations or recommendations.
Principle 2
Understanding before judgment.
The goal is not to automatically validate one person or declare a winner. The goal is to clarify what each person may be seeing, missing, assuming, or experiencing.
Principle 3
People remain in control.
AI may help organize information, identify patterns, explain options, and suggest next steps. It should not replace human judgment in consequential personal, medical, legal, financial, clinical, or safety-related decisions.
Principle 4
Memory should serve the person.
Information should be preserved and resurfaced because it helps the user — not simply because it can be collected.

Insight should lead somewhere.
The product should help transform understanding into decisions, plans, responsibilities, reminders, and follow-through when appropriate.

Private and shared information must remain clearly separated, with understandable consent and access controls.
Trust and transparency

Context is Love is currently being developed and evaluated through private product testing.
Testers are helping identify what feels useful, what is confusing, what the product misunderstands, what context it fails to request, and what users reasonably expect it to do next.
The purpose of testing is not only to identify technical bugs. It is also to determine where the product earns trust, where it falls short, and which real human needs it can responsibly make simpler.

Context is Love is an evolving product currently undergoing private testing. Features, wording, workflows, and availability may change as the product improves.

The product uses artificial intelligence to help interpret, organize, connect, and respond to user-provided information. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed by the user.
