Context is Love LLC

Terms of Service

Effective August 30, 2026. These terms describe the product as it exists today and cover Context is Love, Personal HQ, Context HQ, and the industry HQ experiences built on the same platform.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Context is Love, you agree to these Terms of Service between you and Context is Love LLC (“Context is Love,” “we,” “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the product. If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is part of your agreement with us.

2. Who can use Context is Love

Account holders must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Adults may include context about family members, including children, and are responsible for having the authority to do so.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
  • Do not share your account with anyone else. Invite them to a shared space instead, or use the staff logins included with a paid pilot.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
  • You can delete your account yourself from Account settings, subject to the retention and shared-record behaviour described below.

4. The product is under active development

Context is Love is an evolving product. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We do not guarantee uptime or that any particular feature will continue to exist. We may suspend or change access to preserve safety, security, or the integrity of the product.

5. Your context and the license you give us

You keep ownership of everything you put into Context is Love — messages, notes, saved content, uploads, decisions, tasks, corrections, and memories. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, retrieve, and display that content only as needed to operate the features you use: to keep your context, generate understanding and suggestions, surface things at the right time, show content to the people you have shared it with, and provide support and security.

That license is limited to operating the product for you. It ends for future use when you delete the content or your account, subject to the shared-record and retention behaviour described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to submit what you save, including content about other people.

6. Private context, shared context, and audience scope

  • Private context is private by default. It is never used covertly to supply evidence for a conclusion shared with other people.
  • Content you place in a shared space is visible to the members of that space, according to that space's permissions and the audience scope you choose.
  • Shared spaces keep a shared history. Other members' legitimate record of what happened there can remain after you leave.
  • Joining a space, accepting a role, or accepting a responsibility always requires your consent. We never add you to a group automatically.
  • Cross-context AI use is per-user, default-deny, and revocable. No owner, admin, partner, or employer can grant it on your behalf.
  • Revoking a permission stops future use and access through that permission. It cannot retract output already legitimately shared with others, or copies that already exist outside the product.

7. Derived context, corrections, and AI limits

The product derives material from what you provide: summaries, extracted facts, interpretations, connections, briefings, proposed decisions and tasks. Derived output is an interpretation, not a source fact, and should not be treated as an independent record of what is true.

When source context is corrected, withdrawn, superseded, deleted, or loses permission, consequential derived artifacts that materially depend on it are re-evaluated, invalidated, or removed from current use. Corrections are preserved as history rather than silently overwritten, so you can see what changed.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. It supports your understanding and judgment; it does not replace them, and it is not professional medical, legal, financial, clinical, or emergency advice. Read more on our AI Transparency page.

8. Connected AI applications and external services

You may connect an external AI application to your account, for example through a connected-apps or MCP integration. Connecting is per-user, requires your own authorization, and is off unless you turn it on. A connected application acts as you and cannot reach anything you could not reach yourself. Content sent through it is also processed by that application's provider under their terms, not ours. You can disconnect it at any time.

Links, files, and content you import from other services are handled as data, not as instructions to the product. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services you reach through the product.

9. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the product for anything unlawful, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or coercive.
  • Do not use Context is Love to monitor, surveil, retaliate against, humiliate, or coerce another person.
  • Do not attempt to access other users' data, bypass permissions, probe our security controls, or disrupt the service.
  • Do not upload malware, scrape the service at scale, or resell access.
  • Do not use the product as a substitute for emergency services or for professional advice.

10. Regulated and sensitive information

Context is Love is not a regulated system of record and does not create a medical, legal, or other privileged relationship. Do not use it as the system of record for protected health information, payment card data, government identifiers, or other regulated categories where a compliant system is required. Where you work in a regulated environment, human review remains yours.

11. Payments

Paid purchases are processed by Stripe on its hosted checkout. We do not receive or store full card numbers. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply.

Personal HQ membership is $14.99/month. Cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not provide partial-period refunds unless required by law.

The Context HQ pilot is $500 one time for a 30-day pilot covering one measurable recurring workflow and one defined operating scope, with the success metric agreed before kickoff, founder-led setup, and up to 15 participating staff plus 1 owner/admin. There is no ongoing contract and no automatic renewal. Where a separate signed pilot or order document exists, it controls conflicting pilot-specific details.

Cancelling a plan or failing to pay is not a deletion request. Access to paid features may end, while your context remains until you delete it or ask us to.

12. Retention, deletion, and organization-owned records

You can delete content and permanently delete your account from Account settings. Context created inside an organization or shared space can remain part of that shared record with your authorship removed; your private context is not part of that record. Deletion applies to our live systems, and infrastructure providers keep their own operational backups on schedules we do not control. See the Privacy Policy for the full description.

13. Our intellectual property

The product itself — software, design, brand, wordmarks, and documentation — belongs to Context is Love LLC. These terms do not transfer any of it to you. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the product except as the law allows.

14. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Context is Love at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are broken, if payment fails, or if continued access would create risk for other people or for the service. Where practical, we will tell you and give you a chance to export or delete your content.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Context is Love is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or complete.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Context is Love LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the product is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid Context is Love for the applicable service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100. A separate signed business or pilot agreement supersedes this limit only where it expressly says so.

17. Indemnity

You will indemnify Context is Love LLC against third-party claims arising from your unlawful content or conduct, your material violation of these terms, or your infringement or misuse of another person's rights. This does not apply to claims arising from our own negligence, misconduct, security failures, or defects in the product.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

There is no mandatory arbitration and no class-action waiver in these terms. Disputes are resolved in court: the state courts of New Jersey, or the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey where federal jurisdiction exists. You and Context is Love LLC consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

19. Changes to these terms

We will update these terms as the product changes. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the product or by email. Continuing to use Context is Love after an update means the updated terms apply.
